BISS is only as good as it is honest. These guidelines keep it that way. They're part of our Terms of Service — break them and your content or account can be removed.
Everything here comes down to one thing. Share your real experience, in your own words. That's the whole product — and the one thing we protect above all else.
Public figures and public-facing roles — executives, politicians, celebrities — are fair game by name; if the job's public, so is the name. Private people are off-limits by name and are automatically swapped for a stand-in. Drag the brand, the policy, the experience — not a private individual's identity.
Don't post anyone's home address, phone number, private medical details, or other personal information — including your own safety-sensitive details. BISS scrubs a lot of this automatically, but don't rely on it as a loophole.
Tell what happened to you. Don't pass off someone else's story, invent events, or speak for experiences you didn't have.
You're a human mid-feeling, not a brand writing a press release. Strong language is welcome; we just soften the sharpest edge. What's not welcome is cruelty aimed at people.
You react to stories with a single word — Iconic. Same. Oof. There are no comment threads on purpose: no reply-guys, no mobs forming to punish someone for having a feeling. Keep it that way.
Enter contests with your own original ideas. No plagiarism, no multiple accounts, no vote manipulation. See the Contest Rules.
See something off? Flag it — one tap. A real review process sits behind every flag: nothing gets removed on a single report, and honest voices are protected. Depending on severity, we may remove content, limit features, or close an account. We aim to be fair, consistent, and transparent about why.
