Cookie Policy

BISS is not yet live. This document takes effect when the service launches and may be updated before then. It's written in plain language on purpose — if anything reads as vague, that's a bug, and you can tell us.

This explains how BISS uses cookies and similar technologies. The short version: we use them to log you in, keep you safe, and make BISS better — never to advertise to you or sell you to anyone. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.

01What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. "Similar technologies" means things like local storage that do comparable jobs. Some are essential; others help us understand and improve the experience.

02What we use them for

  • Essential — signing you in, keeping your session secure, and supporting human verification. BISS can't work without these.
  • Preferences — remembering your settings, like which identity or view you last used.
  • Analytics — understanding how BISS is used, in aggregate, so we can make it better.

03No advertising cookies

We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, because we don't run ads and we don't sell your data. There are no third-party ad networks following you around from BISS.

04Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of BISS from working — like staying logged in. Where the law requires a consent choice for non-essential cookies, we'll ask for it.

05Changes to this policy

If our use of cookies changes, we'll update this page and, for material changes, let you know in the app or by email.
